Palma

International Palma began in 1874 and is a long-range shooting discipline using metal sights from a prone position with a single shot bolt rifle.  The rifle is supported by two hands and one shoulder.  A Palma match consists of 15 shots each at the three distances: 800 yards, 900 yards, and 1000 yards. Sighting shots are unlimited at 800 yards and you are allowed 2 sighters at 900 and 1000 yards.  Variables such as wind, heat, dust, haze, mirage and other unseen factors are all working against the shooter.  For the specific gear list and approved rifle calibers please contact us.  Always check the calendar to confirm league is meeting that week.
